Right now, I've got three to five essays that I need to complete for college applications, as well as some other forms to fill out. Today, when I heard that Wintersday starts the 21st, it's given me a deadline that I want to achieve, so that I can waste my entire winter break on Snowball.

Xylias Spiritbound is ready to go for Gosu Skillz, and who am I to deny him?

If at all possible, I'd like to get a new prestige armor for him and decorate him in the festive colors of red and green. If I'm really lucky, I'll get him a Dread Mask, to be a temporary replacement to his Dragon Mask.

How's everyone else preparing for Wintersday?

Edit: By the looks of it, it seems like I'm the only one who's busy these days. =|

I'm preparing for Wintersday by farming for all the various things that the Wintersday collectors take. I want to get as big a collection of holiday alcohol as I can, so that my mesmer can get closer to being an Incorrigible Ale-Hound. At the same time I'm also looking out for special drops so I can give some of my guildies a green or something else nice as a holiday present.

I'm getting ready by doing.... nothing. All I do is play in the snowball arena. Not sure how I can prepare for that.

I've been farming various things like Ornate Grawl Necklaces, Decayed Orr Emblems, Singed Gargoyle Skulls and Charr Carvings off an on for sometime. I have around 400 necklaces right now. I'm assuming the same collectibles will be used yet again this year. If the stuff I've collected so far isn't used then no big deal, but if it is then I have a good start on candy canes and what not.

I've found farming necklaces to be the most fruitful collectible to farm from previous events.

If it makes you feel any better I'll be working my butt off. Last year: Full time employed, 11 days off over Christmas. This year: Self employed, working every day over Christmas (deadline crunch galore).

That said, I will probably farm a few Orr Emblems and singed gargoyle skulls. Although none of my characters really need the xp I'll probably do all the quests. I might actually mod my Wintergreen Shield and use it to make me feel festive.

Actually, I think I'm gonna get rid of my Ritualist Norn Armor. And my Ranger Norn Armor. They just kinda lost their touch to me after a while.

I wish I hadn't sold my Wintergreen Shield. T_T

Myself mostly. The trouble with freelancing is it seems to be all or nothing, and turning work down can be a mistake.

I may dye my ranger's fur-lined armor red...but it's black now so I'm kinda leery on that.

Im preparing by starting a goal of having Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer finished by Wintersday. ^^ Im at 96.2% now, I was at 90% this afternoon when I really got started working on it. ^^ My college classes end on the 17th so I will get freetime just beforehand. ^^
